Early Life

Amulya, born as Moulya in Bengaluru, Karnataka, has a rich family background. Her father worked as a head clerk at Seshadripuram Main College until his passing in 2009. She lives with her mother, Jayalaksmi, a housewife, in Bangalore. Amulya also has an older brother, Deepak Aras, who directed her 2011 film Manasology.

Her acting journey began at the age of six when she appeared in the Kannada television soap opera Supta Manasina Sapta Swaragalu. Amulya describes her childhood as quite active, as she balanced sports, music, and academics. During her school years, she trained in Bharatanatyam and earned a green belt in Karate. She completed her pre-university course in commerce at Mount Carmel College in Bangalore, where she later earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in 2014.

Career

Amulya made her film debut as a child artist in the 2001 Kannada movie Parva, which starred Vishnuvardhan in the lead role. Her first major role as a lead actress came in the 2007 film Cheluvina Chittara, where she starred opposite Ganesh; the film was a commercial success. Following that, she appeared in Chaitrada Chandrama, Premism, Naanu Nanna Kanasu, and Manasology, which had moderate box office performances or underperformed. After taking a two-year break, Amulya returned to the big screen in 2013 with the hit film Shravani Subramanya, again starring alongside Ganesh. Amulya Brother Death
