Amyra Dastur hails from a Parsi family and communicates in English and Gujarati at home. She earned her bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mumbai’s HR College.

Growing up, she attended Cathedral and John Connon School and later Dhirubhai Ambani International School, where she developed an interest in performing arts.

Her family converses in English and Gujarati at home, which contributed to her multilingual abilities. Amyra’s early inclination towards the arts led her to pursue a career in modeling at a young age.

She featured in various commercials, establishing a foothold in the entertainment industry. Despite her growing career, she remained committed to her education, completing her bachelor’s degree in commerce from HR College in Mumbai.

Amyra Dastur began her career as a model, prominently appearing in commercials. She made her Hindi cinema debut with Manish Tiwary’s romantic drama “Issaq,” where she starred alongside Prateik Babbar. Her entry into Tamil cinema was marked by her role in “Anegan,” directed by K. V. Anand, featuring Dhanush as her co-star.

Expanding her career to international projects, Amyra played a role in “Kung Fu Yoga” alongside Jackie Chan, which premiered in India on February 3, 2017. Following this, she appeared in Akshat Verma’s “Kaalakaandi,” starring Saif Ali Khan, where she performed an energetic dance number choreographed by Adil Malik.

Amyra’s debut in Telugu cinema came with “Manasuku Nachindi,” directed by Mahesh Babu’s sister. The same year, she appeared in her second Telugu film, “Rajugadu,” opposite Raj Tarun.
