Early Life
Anupama Parameswaran was born on February 18, 1996, in Irinjalakuda, Kerala, India. She completed her schooling at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Irinjalakuda, and pursued a degree in Communicative English from CMS College, Kottayam. From a young age, Anupama showed a keen interest in the arts and participated in various cultural activities and competitions during her school and college years. Her passion for acting and performing arts eventually led her to the film industry, where she made her debut with the Malayalam film “Premam” in 2015, which was a significant success and launched her career in cinema.
Career
Anupama Parameswaran made her acting debut in the Malayalam film “Premam,” where she starred alongside Nivin Pauly. The film was a major success. She then had a brief role in “James & Alice.” Anupama transitioned to the Telugu film industry with “A Aa,” featuring alongside Nithiin and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and also appeared in the Telugu version of “Premam.” Her first Tamil film was “Kodi,” where she acted opposite Dhanush.
In January 2017, she appeared in the Telugu film “Shatamanam Bhavati” with Sharwanand and in the Malayalam film “Jomonte Suvisheshangal” alongside Dulquer Salmaan. Following these, she starred in “Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi” with Ram Pothineni and took on roles in Merlapaka Gandhi’s “Krishnarjuna Yudham” with Nani, and A. Karunakaran’s “Tej I Love You” with Sai Dharam Tej. She was again paired with Ram Pothineni in “Hello Guru Prema Kosame.”
In 2019, Anupama debuted in Kannada cinema with “Natasaarvabhowma” alongside Puneeth Rajkumar and appeared in the Telugu film “Rakshasudu.” In 2021, she starred in the Tamil film “Thalli Pogathey” opposite Atharvaa. In 2022, she appeared in “Rowdy Boys” with Ashish and in “Karthikeya 2,” the sequel to “Karthikeya” (2014). Her upcoming film, “Tillu Square,” where she stars with Siddhu Jonnalagadda, is set for release on March 29, 2024.
