Her father, Shiv Kapoor, is a furniture exports entrepreneur, while her mother, Dimpy Kapoor, is a former teacher who later ventured into marketing. Vaani has an elder sister named Nupur Chopra, who is married and settled in Dubai.
Vaani completed her schooling at Mata Jai Kaur Public School in Ashok Vihar, Delhi. She pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Alongside her studies, Vaani worked as an intern with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Jaipur and later at ITC Hotel. Her practical experiences in the hospitality industry equipped her with valuable skills and insights.

She made her debut with a supporting role in the romantic comedy “Shuddh Desi Romance,” starring alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra. The film, which explored live-in relationships, garnered positive reviews, with critics praising Vaani’s portrayal of the outspoken character Tara. It also achieved commercial success.
Following her debut, Vaani starred in the Tamil romantic comedy “Aaha Kalyanam” and later appeared in Aditya Chopra’s “Befikre” in 2016. Unfortunately, “Befikre” did not receive favorable reviews.
