Career
Zareen Khan’s acting career began serendipitously when she visited the set of “Yuvvraaj” at Whistling Woods, the film school of Subhash Ghai. It was there that she caught the attention of Salman Khan, who saw her potential and selected her for the film “Veer,” directed by Anil Sharma. Salman believed she was an ideal choice for the role of Princess Yashodhara. Though “Veer” did not fare well at the box office, Zareen’s performance received a mix of praise and criticism.
In 2011, Zareen appeared in the popular item number “Character Dheela” alongside Salman Khan in the movie “Ready,” which emerged as the second highest-grossing Bollywood film of that year. She further showcased her modeling talent by walking as the showstopper for the jewelry brand YS18 during the India International Jewellery Week in 2012.
